I am 19 years old and I feel I have wasted a lot of time. Is it too late for me to achieve something worthwhile?
From Ahmed Ashraf
Nothing is ever too late unless you make the conscious choice to quit – setbacks will always come up in life, the only way to move through them rather than around them is to accept that failure and hesitation will come into the dance of life. It’s now up to you to make a different decision, that is to move forward regardless of what the result is.
You’re only 19 years old, think about it – you have at least a good 70 years left of your amazing life to be and do more. You’ve just begun, heck you probably haven’t even started which is fantastic! This is the opportunity you have to begin the journey of discovering and then becoming the most powerful version of yourself.
“Time will move forward, so must you”
What have you done thus far in your life that you feel you wasted it? Video games, parties, getting drunk with friends etc? Hey we’ve all been there at some point in our lives, I know some people that did not experience anything in life besides books and studying until they began college. Some of them fell off the deep end, others understood what was important to them and moved past the pressures and temptations.
There’s so much more to look forward to AND even more to do in your life friend. Look at it from a grand scheme of things, you’re 19 years old and you’re at the perfect time in your life to identify your D.R.E.A.M (Direct Reflection Expressing A Miracle). This is what you will build your legacy from with the energy and inspiration you have.
“Start in the right place so you end up in the right place”
Too many people spend 10-20 years doing work that they do not enjoy or hate, rather contributing to another statistic figure out what excites you. What types of interactions and activity do you enjoy participating in that also provides value and benefit to others. When you’ve discovered what that is, you won’t need to seek outside for the answers.
For all of the answers you need rest inside of you.
Keep growing stronger Ahmed,
