Motivation To Do Work During Holidays

From TP,

Motivation can be a dangerous word to throw around TP. The reason why is because motivation is finite, it only lasts as long as you want it to. If something else comes along that “motivates” you to stop what you were doing then the difficulty comes up, which one do you choose?

Weigh the Pros and Cons

Think clearly with this because if your homework will help shape your future in any meaningful way, then it’s your obligation to complete your homework whether you want to or not. This change in work ethic will help you down the road, far more than remembering facts and being able to remember equations. It will build strong habits through your life when you know work needs to be done and without question you do what you need to do.

My invitation is to understand where your motivations currently are when you’re not doing home work. Find a bit of relation with the activity or event and how you can relate that to your home. Let your other joys and passions ignite a sense of connection with a subject matter or topic you have for your homework.

Pain is temporary, Quitting lasts forever

It may seem like a headache having to do your homework, i’ve been there before as a child but the worst thing you can ever do to yourself is to quit. That my friend may last forever and it also builds a negative habit when it comes to anything in life. You have one chance at life, any way you slice it you have one life opportunity to life a happy and successful life.

Doing your homework may suck right now, but believe me in a few years you will look back and will understand that everything happens for a reason. Allow this opportunity to create strong habits for everything you do from this day on.

Keep growing stronger,
